Hydraulic loading/unloading platforms are the most commonly used type, ensuring fast and smooth loading and unloading of goods. When using, first lift the platform and lip plate together, flip and open the lip plate, then lower the platform to the same height as the freight vehicle. Once ready, begin loading and unloading. When loading and unloading are complete, lift the platform, lower the lip plate, and return the platform to its original position. Installation can be done by embedding. The hydraulic oil can be replaced with cryogenic oil (down to -20 degrees Celsius) according to customer requirements. The loading/unloading platform conforms to established specifications and relevant standards and possesses relevant certifications.
1. Ensure operators are trained and can operate the platform effectively. The user manual must be readily available for all workers to use and refer to.
2. If there are unauthorized personnel in the loading/unloading dock area, inform them of the relevant safety regulations before operating the platform, and if necessary, remove them from the area before proceeding.
3. Emphasize the safety measures that must be followed in the dock area, such as: wearing PPE, including brightly colored vests and non-slip shoes; not operating in the loading/unloading dock area; not jumping onto or off the loading/unloading dock; staying away from the dock edge; and avoiding any part of the body coming into contact with the loading/unloading platform during loading and unloading.
4. Check the rated load of the loading/unloading platform and do not attempt to overload it.
5. Prevent slips and trips by: removing any hazardous materials that could cause accidents from the loading/unloading dock; and daily keeping the floor around the loading/unloading platform dry and cleaning away garbage, dirt, and grease.
6. Do not attempt to use the loading/unloading platform equipment if the truck's height exceeds the recommended operating range.
7. Before using a hydraulic platform truck, carefully read the instruction manual to understand the platform truck's performance and usage requirements.
8. Overloading is prohibited; hydraulic platform trucks must be used within their rated permissible limits.
9. Hydraulic platform trucks are prohibited from carrying personnel.
10. Hands and feet must not enter the coverage area of the hydraulic platform truck.
11. Hydraulic platform trucks must not be loaded with loose or unstable items.
12. Loading goods on the surface of a hydraulic platform truck or on inclined or uneven surfaces is prohibited.
13. Hydraulic platform trucks must be braked when loading goods to prevent the vehicle from moving.
14. Do not leave goods on the platform truck for extended periods.
15. Hydraulic platform trucks must not be moved while loading.
16. After the hydraulic platform truck is lifted, the goods on the vehicle must not move laterally.
