The steel truss floor formwork is a combined formwork that processes the reinforcing bars in the floor slab in the factory into steel trusses, and then welds the steel trusses together with galvanized profiled steel plates. Therefore, the steel truss floor formwork consists of two parts: steel trusses and profiled steel plates. Thus, it has the following four characteristics:

1. Economic
a) The force mode of the steel trusses is reasonable, the material selection is economical, and the overall cost advantage is obvious;
b) It can be designed as a two-way slab;
c) The height of the truss and the diameter of the reinforcing bars can be adjusted to adapt to different thicknesses and larger spans of floor slabs;

d) Using relatively inexpensive materials to provide the stiffness of the floor slab construction stage, in order to minimize the amount of steel and reduce costs.

2. Convenient
a) The on-site reinforcement binding workload can be reduced by 60% to 70%, and the on-site reinforcement binding weight is only between 2 to 3 kg/m2, which can further shorten the construction period;
b) The force mode of the truss can provide greater floor formwork stiffness, and generally does not require temporary supports during construction.
3. Safe
a) The mechanical properties are basically the same as those of traditional cast-in-place floor slabs, and the floor has good crack resistance;
b) The fire resistance performance is comparable to that of traditional cast-in-place floor slabs, and better than that of profiled steel plate combined floor slabs;
c) The bottom formwork does not participate in the force during the usage stage and does not need to consider the anti-corrosion issue.
4. Reliable
a) The reinforcing bars are arranged uniformly, and the spacing between the upper and lower layers of reinforcing bars and the thickness of the reinforcing bar protective layer are reliably guaranteed;
b) The two-way stiffness of the floor is similar, which is conducive to the earthquake resistance of the building;
c) The welding quality of the bolts can be more easily guaranteed, and the reinforcement binding quality is ensured by the workers' responsibility, steel supports and pads, while the spacing of the steel trusses is guaranteed by automated mechanical equipment.
